2 GENERAL PROVISIONS

2.1 The eAIP (electronic aeronautical information publication) is the electronic version of the aeronautical information publication (AIP), including AMDT, AIC, and AIP Supplements in HTML and PDF formats extracted from a single database.

2.2 The eAIP is available in both HTML and PDF formats. In addition to the standard HTML navigation features, the eAIP allows users to view changes in the main content of the AIP and its amendments.

2.3 Some of the most important advantages for users of an eAIP are listed below:

a) ease of navigation due to HTML technology;
b) publication of AIP content, including AIP Amendments (AMDT), AIP Supplements (SUP), and Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC) in an electronic and structured format;
c) viewing AIP content on a computer screen using Web technology;
d) clear visualization of changes;
e) printing by section of the eAIP; and
f) ease of search.

3 FILES FORMAT

3.1 The eAIP is available in two formats: HTML, ideal for navigation, and PDF, specific for printing, with files having the extension ‘.pdf’.

4 TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

4.1 For HTML navigation, browsers must support HTML 4.0 or later versions, as well as JavaScript.

5 DISTRIBUTION MEANS

5.1 The eAIP is available on AISWEB through the link: https://aisweb.decea.mil.br/eaip.

6 EAIP NAVIGATION

6.1 The cover page, Figure 1, is the initial page of the eAIP and displays the effective and publication dates. By clicking on a date, the tabs containing the "AIP," "AMDT," "SUPs," and "AICs" issued on that publication date are displayed.

6.2 The first eAIPs listed on the cover page are the ones currently in effect (Effective Edition), followed by the eAIP amendments that have been published but are not yet effective (Upcoming Editions). Lastly, the eAIPs from past editions (Archived) are also listed, as shown in Figure 1.

                                                                           Figure 1

(1) National flag logo;
(2) State;
(3) Link to the eAIP cover page;
(4) Link to the list of past, current, and future AMDTs;
(5) Link to the current page in PDF format;

7 “AIP” TAB

7.1 The "AIP" tab contains the complete index of the AIP.

7.2 The following methods can be used to navigate the information in the “AIP” tab”:

a) click on a "+" or "-" sign to show or hide a sublevel of section titles; and;
b) clicando em um título clicking on a title to navigate to the relevant section in the eAIP window.

7.3 The effective date of the full AIP is at the top of the index.

7.4 Unlike an AIP in paper format, the concept of page replacement is not applicable to the eAIP. Instead, the “AMDT” tab contains links to all changes to the AIP. If the current eAIP contains no changes, the change list is empty.

7.5 Changes are indicated in two colors, blue and pink. AIRAC (Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control) information, a regular 28-day aeronautical information update cycle, is shaded pink and non-AIRAC information, which does not comply with this cycle, is shaded blue, as shown in Figure 3.

7.6 Changes are grouped by Part, Section and Subsection.

7.7 Each change is indicated by a blue triangle, as shown in Figure 3
